Head of Finance (Remote)

We are a fast-growing multinational car-sharing company with operations across South-East Asia and Australia region. Our mission is to revolutionize the mobility space by offering flexible, affordable, and sustainable transportation solutions. As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and ensure the business remains financially healthy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports on a regular basis. Ensure timely and accurate financial data for decision-making.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic objectives. Implement strategies for working capital management and financial sustainability.
• Accounting Operations: Ensure smooth daily operations of the finance team, including managing accounting processes, payroll, tax filings, and financial audits. Maintain compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Multinational Financial Management: Manage the complexities of multinational financial operations, including foreign exchange, multi-region financial reporting, and local regulatory compliance.
• Founders Collaboration: Work directly with the founders to align financial strategy with the company’s long-term vision. Provide financial advice and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and cost management across the organization.
• Financial Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team across different regions, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
• 7-8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in startups or high-growth companies.
• Proven experience in delivering full financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) on a regular basis.
• Experience in the mobility, sharing economy, or technology sector is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems, accounting software, and data analysis tools.
• Experience managing multinational financial operations, including foreign exchange and multi-region reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to the founders and senior leadership.
